2010 is when we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of ASIFA
(Association Internationale du Film D'Animation), founded by the great filmmakers
who went through the World War II. The Hiroshima Festival bagan with the merging
of the spirit of Hiroshima and that of ASIFA, an organization pursuing mutual
understanding and peace through Animation. This program celebrates ASIFA's 50th
anniversary.
