The schedule of the 16th International Animation Festival in Japan – HIROSHIMA 2016 has been decided!
HIROSHIMA 2016 will be held from August 18th (Thu.) to 22nd (Mon.), 2016.
We are looking forward to your participation to HIROSHIMA 2016.
A special publicity program of HIROSHIMA 2014 will be aired on "ANIMAX" TV channel in Japan!
(Broadcasted only in Japan)
ANIMAX TV, a Japanese satellite television network dedicated to animation, will broadcast a special publicity program "The attractive aspects of animation from the world! The 15th Hiroshima International Animation Festival" on November 30th, from 23:00 p.m to midnight in Japanese time.
Five award-winning works will be aired in this program!

International Animation Day 2014 in HIROSHIMA
There will be Special Screenings of the Award-winning Works of Hiroshima International Animation Festival Winning titles and Flip Book Workshop at Hiroshima city Cinematographic and Audio-Visual Library (Eizo Bunka Library), and 8 community centers (kominkan) in each of the eight wards in Hiroshima city from October to November.

International Animation Day 2013 in HIROSHIMA
International Animation Day 2013 in HIROSHIMA will take place during October - November at the Hiroshima City Cinematographic and Audio-Visual Library (Eizo Bunka Library) as well as at eight public facilities in each of the eight wards in Hiroshima --- six community centers (kominkan), one children's hall (jidokan) and one elementary school).
An Exhibition "The World of Animation," organized by Joshibi University Alumnae Association, runs in cooperation with Hiroshima International Animation Festival till June 9th!
