A man has, for his only passion, a flower in a pot which he surrounds with his care. Each evening, he awaits the lighting of the street lamp to see the shadow of his plant projected on the wall of his room. Of this shadow, he dreams of an impossible love. But a growing crack in the glass of the street lamp will transform the daydreams into nightmares.
