Dear Friends,

It is our pleasure to announce that our International Animation Festival in Japan HIROSHIMA 2010 will be held from August 7th to 11th, 2010, and also, that we will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary. As we continue to hold the Festival, since its establishment in 1985, we are very pleased that the importance and effectiveness of animation art is becoming more widely recognized today.
This Festival was founded 25 years ago, with the vision of Hiroshima City, and has been supported by the profound understanding of the importance of continuation.
Of course, animation filmmakers' ceaseless endeavors toward creativity have verified such vision and understanding to move forward together.
Animation art culture has great potential, which is essential for our future, and has been developing continuously.
We are very much looking forward to receiving your inspiring entries to HIROSHIMA 2010 !
